I’m still reeling from the BET Awards: I hope you all tuned in and checked out my fashion recap!
The star-studded award show was the place to be this weekend, though celebs were also spotted out and about in the world’s most stylish cities, making TV appearances, grabbing lunch, and hitting the streets with their equally fashionable friends.
Let’s see what they wore!
Rihanna was gilded in a bronze Giorgio Armani short suit. Cute no?
Nicki Minaj gave an artful spin to the classic black and white combo in a two-tone $2,063 Mugler Sleeveless Dress and a pair of $1,555 Rene Caovilla Pumps. Hot!
For the main event, Laverne Cox slipped out of her jumpsuit into a long-sleeve cutout Michael Costello number with a thigh-high slit. Definitely one of the best looks of the evening!
Lil Mama donned a red python embossed gown for the show. This would have been great had she opted for simple ankle-strap sandals instead of black pointed-toe pumps.
A blue three-piece suit to match his own pair of baby blues was Smokey Robinson’s choice for the evening as he picked up his Lifetime Achievement Award. Easily one of the best dressed men of the evening!
Serayah continued her wave of sultriness, choosing a cage bustier, high-waist leather pants, and platform booties for her performance with the Empire cast. She’s a gorgeous girl.
Faith Evans was the lady in red in a cropped fur jacket and jumpsuit in the fiery hue, along with a pair of $2,660 Giuseppe Zanotti Rhinestone Chain Link Sandals. She’s never looked better!
And in London Amal Clooney was prim in proper in a white skirt suit.
An orange cutout mini dress and floral pumps were on the menu for Bella Thorne while making an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers. Hot!
Candice Patton took to the 2015 Saturn Awards in a navy Versace dress.
Christina Milian was pretty in pink at the NALIP 2015 Latino Media Awards in Hollywood and honestly, her dress reminded me of the 80’s cult classic with its illusion neckline, ruffle detailing, bustier styling, and bandage construction. Too many focal points unfortunately…
Jada Pinkett Smith made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live in a blush pink lace jumpsuit. Another flawless look for the Magic Mike XXL actress!
A white tank and high-waist denim flares were Jamie Chung’s selections while grabbing lunch at Craig’s Restaurant in West Hollywood.
Karlie Kloss and Derek Blasberg hit the streets of NYC with the supermodel in a wrap crop top and high-waist slit skirt. I liked this easy breezy Summer ensemble.
While dining at Kinu Restaurant in Paris, Kendall Jenner was draped in a silky black turtleneck and leather trousers.
Leigh-Anne Pinnock was suited up for a night out at Mahiki Nightclub in a red blazer and trousers and a white bra top.
A polka dot print top and plaid slingbacks were Mindy Kaling’s picks for an evening in Tinseltown.
Paula Patton was all smiles in the Big Apple, sporting a graphic tee, cropped skinnies, and leather ankle boots.
Closing out the week was Rita Ora in a fringe getup, embellished leather jacket, and $1,375 Laurence Dacade Gatsby Studded Boots. Another fun stage look from Ms. Ora this week.
